JoJo was surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on January 19, 2022. He was rescued by Leica's Saving Paws on January 26, 2022.
 This handsome boy was surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on January 18, 2022. He was a perfect gentleman when I took him outside for his adoption photos and struck several handsome poses. He was adopted into a new home on January 25, 2022 and renamed "George"!    "Reagan" was an older Pointer mix breed dog picked up by an animal control officer on January 10, 2022. She was rescued by Rescue Me GA on January 24, 2022!
 "Jade" was picked up stray January 18, 2022 by an animal control officer. She was rescued by Rescue Me Georgia on January 24, 2022!
"Trixie" was surrendered by her owner on January 19, 2022. She was rescued by Hero Dog Rescue on January 24, 2022!
"April" was picked up by an animal control officer on January 15, 2022. She was rescued by Barkville Dog Rescue on January 24, 2022!
 "Blake" was picked up stray by an animal control officer on January 18, 2022. He was adopted into a new home on January 21, 2022.
"Donavan" was a handsome, young American Bulldog and Pitbull mix that was picked up stray by an animal control officer and came to the animal shelter. He was already neutered and such a good boy that he'd sit on command. He was rescued on January 14, 2022 by Pound Puppies N Kittens! His rescue was sponsored by donations to PPNK from Becky, Sonia, Joy, Lorraine, Anne, Jason, Barbara, Dana, Kay and Nancy.
 "Hunter" was surrendered by his owner to the animal shelter on January 11, 2022. His owner said he was extremely loyal, great with kids, a feisty player, and yet a calm cuddler. However, he still ended up homeless in the animal shelter when his owner said they were "moving and can't take him." It didn't take long for someone to fall in love with this handsome boy and he was adopted after just two days in the shelter!
“Rex” was an absolutely gorgeous German Shepherd mixed with Golden Retriever. This gave him the stately body of a shepherd, and the golden coat and friendly personality of the a retriever. He was surrendered by his owner but quickly found rescue on January 13, 2022.

"Hugo" was a handsome young Boxer mix dog that was turned in stray to the animal control shelter on December 27, 2021. No owner came to look for him and he got a new home on January 3, 2022!

"Stoney" was an older Boxer and American Bulldog mix breed dog surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on December 28, 2022. He was a nice and quiet guy that got along well with others. He was rescued by Leica's Saving Paws rescue on January 3, 2022!

"Snowflake" was a mature Great Pyrenees mix that was turned in stray to the animal control shelter on December 16, 2021. No owner came to look for her and she was rescued by Canine Pet Rescue on December 20, 2021!
"Merry" was a happy Pitbull mix that recently had puppies. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer and brought to the animal shelter on December 2, 2021. Her owner called, but then never showed up to claim her. She was saved by DAWG Squad Rescue on December 13, 2021.
"Rocky" was a handsome German Shepherd dog picked up stray by an animal control officer on December 1, 2021. He was a popular boy while in the shelter and got 20 adoption applications. His owner showed up and claimed him on December 10, one day before his hold expiration.
 Not every animal is happy to come to the shelter! "Krampus" was a decent feollow, but it took a little bit for him to calm down and give me a not-so-pissed-looking photo to post on the adoption website (obviously not the photo above). He was picked up stray on December 2, 2021. Someone emailed and said he was a "neighborhood stray", but nobody came to claim him and he was rescued by Pound Puppies N Kittens on December 8, 2021.
"Donny" was a smaller sized Lab mix that was picked up stray by an animal control officer on November 8, 2021. No owner came to claim him and he was adopted into a new home on November 16, 2021!
"Diamond" was a unique looking Aussie mixed breed dog that was surrendered by her owner to the animal shelter on November 5, 2021. She was rescued by the DAWG Squad Rescue on November 16, 2021!
